Enhanced Team Building Activity examples:

Corporate Ladder- Our most popular enhanced activity!
In this game show style game, your group works in teams, who are each assigned a belayer (RSC Staff). Team members must climb specific walls in order to earn a shot at answering questions. You will provide us with a list of questions about your organization, a related topic, or even the members of your group, prior to the event. Teams earn points for completed climbs as well as correctly answered questions. Each team member must climb at least once, and at the end of the pre-determined time, the team with the most points wins!

Blindfolded Climbing
You guessed it…team members will climb blindfolded! The goal is to help one of your team members climb the wall, while they are blindfolded. Communication and trust are key in this game. Great communication exercise!

Shark Pit- Most popular team building game w/variations!
Who doesn’t want to swing on the ropes? We use our gym ropes and foam pads to create this imaginative game. A volcano is erupting and the team is trapped on a beach surrounded by lava. They must use a handy vine to swing across shark infested waters to a small rescue vessel. The whole team must make it across without touching the water. This initiative is active but not difficult, and the team must work together to help less successful swingers reach the boat. As a further challenge the team can be instructed not to speak, or certain members blindfolded.

Emphasis on strategic planning and communication (verbal and non-verbal).

Helium Pole
An ordinary pole seems filled with helium if the whole team doesn’t work together to lower it to the ground.

Bouldering Relay
We will split your group into two or more teams. The goal is to see which team will get the farthest traversing around our boulder. One person climbs at a time, with the next team member starting where the last one left off. The object of the game is to see how well the team can utilize their strengths, come up with a plan and work together.

Fosters teamwork and planning.

Lily Pads
In this game, your group will work together to get from point A to point B within the gym. Given a limited number of foam “lily pads” to stand on, participants must communicate and coordinate to get everyone safely to the other side without touching the ground, and while always touching a “lily pad.”
